Dutch Hill hike (walk from house)
Hike: walk out to Dutch Hill Rd and turn right. You'll pass a few more houses and then it's all wooded. It'll take you 20-30 minutes to get up to a clearing where there currently are huge stacks of timber. You will see a road going to the right prior to proceeding into this clearing. Follow this up another 15-20 minutes or so, and you'll be on the top of Dutch Hill, with a great view!
Swimming hole Map: 25/B-10(almost at 11)
Turn right at Danby 4 Corners, at a little over a mile, you cross over a bridge, then immediately on your right is Keeler Rd The road takes a turn to the left, in about a 1/10th of a mile there is a curve to the right and you can see a dirt road going off to the left (this is at approx 1.4 miles from Danby 4 Corners). You can keep driving a little further and there is a pull-off on your left side and walk back to the entrance. You keep walking in a short ways and follow trail down to water.
This is actually a gorgeous waterfall with a natural bowl for swimming at the bottom.

The White Dog Tavern in Danby — Open for dinner - Phone 802-293-5477
Just a few minutes away is The White Dog Tavern housed in a quaint historic farmhouse in the country.
This 1812 farmhouse has a center chimney with three fireplaces — a great place to get cozy by the fire in winter! There is also a deck on the back overlooking the horse pasture for scenic outdoor dining in summer. The tavern room has a bar and is a great place for drinks, but stay for dinner as well... you won't be disappointed. Owner Tom Musso has been the proprietor for over 20 years, and has made it a local institution. He and his wife Lisa cook up some of the heartiest and most delicious food around. Try the prime rib, and if you are really hungry ask for the end cut.
